    Yamaha SRX250 for sale

I am selling my Yamaha SRX250 as I have just bought a house (ie. have no money) and want to buy some luggage for my Gixxer. Its not the prettiest bike as it has been dropped more than once, but it handles like a dream and is very economical. Mechanically excellent but aesthetically quite challenged, it would not be a stretch to call it a rat bike. Excellent for learners, especially shorties (I am 5 foot 5 and can flat-foot it). Handles long distances with no troubles, I have ridden from Auckland to Kerikeri and back, and the bike didn't even notice. Tyres are BT45's, which seem to be ideal and stick to the road like the proverbial. Not the fastest bike by any stretch of the imagination, the powerplant is based on the yammie xt250, but this also means that getting bits replaced is really cheap.

Check my albums for pics, or search youtube for SRX250 and Waipoua Forest, and you will see a helmet cam of the bike being thrown around in the wet.

Drop me a PM if you are interested, or email me

I'm open to all reasonable offers, expecting to get around the $1700 mark, but if that is considered unreasonable I am more than happy to enter into discussions.

Due to pending redundancy, the price has been dropped to $1400 firm.

It's a deal, its a steal, it's the sale of the fookin century. Don't miss out.

Here are some slightly outdated pics, the exhaust has changed. Also the pics dont quite show the damage to the little fairing bits.

Frosty, I replied to your PM twice. Once to request your Email, and once to let you know that I had put some pics up. You may want to check if there is a problem with your PM inbox.

    Anyway, too late now.

    SOLD
