My name is Angel from Hong Kong....... im a backpacker in nz, would like to travel around here....i haven't motorbike here, but i bring my own helmet, riding jacket and boots ,haha , hope one day we can go riding together

Hi Angel Welcome..... Welcome.... Welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here in New Zealand. You should let people know when you are heading down then you will get better replies. How long you will be when you get to each town. That way it gets some of the crazy bikers ready to look after you.

Welcome to Kiwi Biker Angel, stay a while - have a good time.

A good start might be to look at the regular rides or get togethers happening in the various locations you are travelling to (Auckland has a regular Thursday night ride, Wellingston and Christchurch do too).

26 December has a huge street race meeting in Wanganui (North Island - 2 hours North of Wellington) if you felt like meeting a lot of KBers all in one place, as wel as having a great day out.

Other than that there will be the usual range of events going on over Christmas and New Year.

Have a look at the KB Calendar (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/calendar.php) and start getting involved in those. There's a good bunch of people in here - as well as the usual variety of "others". Find a groups to hang out with and have fun!
