Cordura pants with knee sliders?

Anyone know if any brands (good quality) have sliders on their cordura pants?

Triumph used to on an old range, they maaaay have on their new, but its order in kind of stuff, would prefer to have a look first, without committing the shop to ordering.

Obviously needs to be good quality, waterproof etc, as I need some decent cordura gear (preferably optioned with liners, so it can cover a wide range of riding - think 0 degrees if it has to).

From memory there was a Spidi Cordura set that had knee sliders, I was looking about 18 months ago though so I can't remember the exact model....

are you allowed on a track with corduras ? If thats what you thinking of, or are you regulari getting knee down on road ? which is it ?

eeek no never heard of it but would buy anyway (or make) the knee slider would put stress on the stitching which is generally weak in cordura anyway and it would rip in no time. Get leather pants ya freak !

I have a 1 piece and 2 piece leathers, no way in hell would I take cordura to the track. Not regularly getting knee down on the road, did once, but it was saving a bike from a low side. More just the slider protecting the cordura if something did happen. They are also nice when you have your knee on the ground for some reason (not while on a bike).

I do 'ave em... I bought em off ya!! I want something more practical for varying conditions, coz I find myself yearning for longer riders than start in the day, end in the night, all sorts of conditions can be found in 15+ hour rides. Leather is good for the day, but can get cold at night.

If the conditions require Cordura then why are you needing knee down capability, shouldnt be even attempting that shit on the road anyway dude

Who said anything about getting knee down on the road? I simply asked for cordura pants with knee sliders on them?

But why would you need knee sliderz if you dont intend to get your knee down? im confused.

But anyway, I have never seen it, from a makers perspective I dont think the cordura would offer a good base to add a knee slider, good luck in the search

hah Simply the additional protection should anything happen (not that it is planned) and they are also useful to rest a knee on if you need to look at something on the bike etc, especially when on some dirt road etc.

Remember thos ecordura / leather combo s that we had, I still have a few pairs of those, the leather is where the knee slider would go, I can sell them to you for a hundy, take it to someone get a patch of velcro added then wolla youre done
