Now that's a thought... might get a few pointers from you on this. Would help with the longer rides. All my tools are back at the house in Auckland.

Pretty sure they're the same size pins as an SV1000...which happens to be the same size as an XB12SS. If that's the case...we can use Buell XB12SS pegs which drop an inch just like that! They're cheap too.

Seriously Pete I found the staff at your shop really freindly and great to talk to.. Still waiting on the answer of a possible occasional track day tool though. Mate just bought one and loves it!

I'm in sales. And as far as the track day weapon question goes...it's a hard ask. Everyone is different. I can ride a Busa as fast as I want to go on public roads..even though I could ride a GSXR1000 faster. But I don't want to go that fast if that makes sense. So...if you can ride a Busa faster than a Busa is capable of being ridden at a race track...then you need to consider a GSXR1000. But if not...a Busa makes more sense. Hope I make sense!

Will do. I'll even email myself now to remind me...as anyone that knows me will tell you...my memory is shot. Open apologies here and now to all I've forgotten to do things for!

No worries mate, I will probably get there next Thurday and have no recollection of this at all! Already set a reminder in my phone to turn up!

    I'd do the same...except I don't own a cell phone!

I had a wee look today for ya...and for sure it looks like there's enough clearance with the mufflers, and the pins are the same size. XB12SS pegs are about $36.00 each. Cheap fix!

Will this mod make much difference to lean angle before the footrest road warning rods touch? My right ones are wearing, have yet to experience the vibes on the left.
    Here for the ride.

Don't think so. The stock pegs are quite thick, and the 'feelers' quite long...so I think it'll balance out.

Perfect sense! I should ride a CBR125RR on the race track in that case...

Where were you on the night of Feb. 1st 2010 and what were you doing there?
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

No idea, but I hope it didn't involve me getting my photo taken whilst holding a card in front of me with numbers on it.

I am using aftermarkets so maybe we look at this on Thursday and see if it will work? If you think it will fit anyway then lets do it. The extra inch stretch from the new pegs will help no end.
