    pation!

Columbia is my favourite character in the RHPS. I have the making of the movie on DVD, including alternative scenes Richard O'Brien wrote. Used to go and dress up and attend the movies back in the day. Had it as a theme party many years ago, keep thinking I should do it again.

Toucha, toucha, toucha touch me, I want to get dirty...LOL Janet at her best

    First eva Ball

okay so imagine being a 12 year old boy and going to your first ever school ball. Shirt and tie type affair.

    The theme is fairy tales.

After a few idea ie his motorcross gear. (he didn't like that idea unless he could take the bike too) we went to a local costume shop. The adult costumes are simply incredible.

Well after trying on quite a few we found one that would allow a shy boy to scare heaps of people and show his true self without revealing his identity.

He was by far the best dress and quite possibly the most popular.
He danced with heaps of girls too by the sounds of things.

So merry christmas from your friendly grinch

Its has been my pleasure to attend a few theme parties over the years, two of the more memorable where a Punk Party in the late 80's,it was 3 months in the planning as most wanted time to grow into character etc.
On the night we had some unexpected visitors ( gate crashers) well they nearly shit themselves when they pushed their way in and were greeted by about a hundred people in full costume, never seen anyone some keen to leave.

The second and most memorable was my daughter's 21st, she had an "S" theme party, I has been seperated from the EX about 2 years at that stage,I went as satan and Ms NH went as a she devil.
well the EX went rightoff about poor taste etc one of the daughters mates topped it off by turning up in brown clothes and wraped in brown paper, he had come as a shit.

What's the theme Blossom? There is a good costume shop down your way - have you checked them out? $2 shops are also great for accessorising a costume.

You could buy him an old suit from an op shop that's too small, and he could be Herman Munster. Add a bolt in his neck for authenticity.

Get a white t-shirt and paint a tyre tread on it and he could be a "Protestor" or road kill (or similar).

Buy a pack of those single serve cereal boxes (you know - special K, cornflakes, just right, cocoa pops etc), attach them to a shirt, spear them with plastic knifes, add some red paint and he is a "Cereal Killer".

Do a google search and you'll come up with heaps of ideas!

Theme is 'superheroes' or 'role models'.
He has decided he is defiantely going as the crocodile hunter complete with rubber snake... he has been practising the accent since yesterday morning and I am sick of it already..its just unassseptable.

Pics to follow tonight...maybe..if we are feeling brave.

Have a great night SuperNanny and make sure all those naughty children know that their unasseptable behaviour will not be tolerated. Please also be sure to give the ice queens at least three 30 minute time outs on your naughty spot.

Got my cold faced work biarch good at our christmas party too - though she does still have her eyebrows

Remember it's one minute for every year of their age. So it should be at least an hour for most of them.

Thats the funny part...I am the youngest...
Gawd..I hope the people who own the very flash resturant where we are going, have a good sense of humour.
20 sawmill workers and families playing dressup with a superhero theme.. good greif...I will have my hands full keeping them all in line tonight. Its the getting down to their level to talk to them that has me worried.. I am short.
