Fender eliminator

I know theres heaps of forums on this but I cant find one that will solve my problem (if you know of one PLEASE let me know). I'm trying to make one myself. The bike is a GSXR 600 k5. I've made a tidy wee plate to sit at the back, but puzzled as to how to light up my number plate. Obviously it can be done but how? I don't want to take bits from that big spade of a thing on there at the moment because I want to keep it in tact for when I sell the bike, so I can just put it back on (if the buyer wants). PLEASE HELP!

You can unscrew the factory light and remount it above the plate - you may need to make a longer bracket to allow for the size of the tail light.

Or pop down to your local truck part supply shop and get a LED flush mount marker light or similar and mount this under the tail section above the plate. Wire to the existing plate light harness.

you could try this, www.superbikestore.com Pt # 330-S110-003 Undertail. It hangs your no' plate and cleans the whole ass of the bike up very well. I have one on my ZX7R and it looks great.

few different ways,
you could get LED number bolts (friends have done)
you can drill two holes in under tial and put two leds thru (what i done)
or just not run a number plate light only really need it for wofs.

i used these http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-192291057.htm on my K6 1000, they screwed up into the holes in the undertail where the factory spade was mounted.

I just used the one off the bike. Its a bit biggish but it'll do the job and it fits real good. Got a set of indicators earlier today for $40 and gonna use a bicycle reflector for my reflector. Just got to finish shaping and cutting the plate so its as invisible as possible, then paint it black. Cheers for the advice fellas

meh i only put a reflector on for 10 mins while its getting a wof, attaches with double side tape, then goes in to the toolbox ready for next wof when ever that is due
