    Wayby Valley Road gravel warning

BE FECKING CAREFUL ON WAYBY VALLEY ROAD Located between warkworth & wellsford, used to go to MANGAWHAI HEADS. There is UNMARKED ROAD REPAIRS WITH DEEP PEA-GRAVEL and we just had 3 out of 4 bikes bin on the one corner

No injuries, but bikes are pretty fucked for Christmas with lots of fairing damage.

So, to repeat, if you are going to Mangawhai heads, be fecking careful.

Bugga, it wasn't that bad when we came back thru there from
the Maha ride to Mangawhai on Sunday.

I was up that way yesterday and its crapy, where the patching has been done there are no signs. The area is the next few corners past the 45kph bend at the end of the straight heading North.

You guys must have come across Woodcocks, saw ya parked outside the Collage early arfternoon yesterday.

We came across there from Mangawhai on Sunday. I saw one temporary speed sign of 30 kph just before that 35k corner to the right. We were right onto the repair, very rough and melted tar oozing through, the next corner was corrugated. Sounds like they have been doing even more repairs since.

Have a crack at the RDC mate if there are no signs.

Want me to go for a little drive up there today and take a few pics?

Hi Mom. sorry for the delay. We got some piccies & had an independant witness, so all is good from that perspective. Maha, yep, that was us just prior to going North. Just a nasty, nasty thing to happen.
