I think the 's' would still be eligible? alot cheaper too! 170hp compared with 180hp in the 'r' or something like that, all of the rest of the kit is about the same, should be competitive.
The limited addition YZFR1 2 to 3 years back ( the one with Ohlins legs at both ends ) was also deemed ineligible.

What was the reason for the 1098r not allowed in Production Superbike?

To the best of my knowledge low volume and high spec suspension ( thats a matter of opinion as its still road focused and internal upspec work would still be required )

I think the way you guys do it is really good. Even just supplying the bike free's up cash needed to own a racebike.
Hell I wish more people would do it................I myself would be able to afford alot more racing if I didn't own the bike.

With a clever accountant even alot of the bike owners expenses could be lessened........Advertising

    Good on the whole crew

The riderless 999 will be out of action for a while.Something came loose in side and buggered the charging system and starter clutch ( other shit)...& the rolling road starts played havoc on the clutch , so new bits coming from the states ,,,on slow boat,,,

    Oh No! Sorry to hear!

Did the alternator nut come loose and the rolling road starts must have messed up the back torque clutch?

Hope to see it back on the track soon, it's one mean machine!

I know who it is. Should do well better than any of the other KTL pilots, that's for sure.
