Thumbs up 250s' Coro Loop: Auckland, AND/OR Tauranga etc. Saturday 20th December

250s Coro loop: Auckland, AND/OR Tauranga etc. Saturday 20th December

    GREEN LIGHT
    GREEN LIGHT, RIDE IS ON!

    Date: December 20th (Saturday)
Meeting: Kopu petrol station, Meet at 10:00am, ride out at 10:20am
    Where?: Full Coromandel loop.
Who?: Any 250s. Bigger bikes are welcome however we will stay at the 250 pace.
Why? I'll be selling my bike + will be moving down to christchurch next month so making it the last coro before I go. Alas to catch up with my old old past-250cc friends (Most have upgraded now!) Also my insurance finishes on 23rd so lets rock!

*Aucklanders meet EJ at the McDonalds Autobahn at 8:00am to ride out to Kopu*

*Ride will be posponded to Sunday (21st) if the weather turns to shit. Will be updated in the morning.*

This is a fairly decent distance to cover in one day 500km's+ (especially for the Auckland crew) And has some challenging parts of road also. Hence why I am going to mention here that all are welcome. HOWEVER, for anyone who is fairly new to riding (ie been doing so for only a month or so and are only coming to terms with open road riding/ your bike etc) This is not the ride for you, a newbie ride is the one you're looking for.

Anyone who is also keen on pissing around tearing through the group and being a right shit on your bike, is not welcome at all. And if anyone does decide to do so will be told to leave the group.

We want this to be a safe enjoyable ride and an incident free day.

Hope to see some of the riders from the past rides: Midnightmike, Renegade Master, Duckaddict, Ragingrob, Toto, Shingo etc...

Again this time we WILL have photoshoot stop. Some rule will apply but I'll explain once we get there.

Sweet. So thats it, if I've missed anything, just post up here and I'll add it, if people have suggestions for meeting times/places that have been agreed upon by a few members, pm me with the details and I'll add it to the original post.

See attachmentment for route etc, of course there will be more stops for photos etc.

Note: See here for past coro ride photos. It will be great to have the same feeling again. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...t=66450&page=7

the meet point is straight off the motorway mate, keep riding on the southern mway till you see a bp and a maccas and some other shops - its right at the end of the motorway
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

It's directly after the Karaka turnoff, the end of the motorway is Wellington >_>

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend, i'll be working that day, and even if I wasn't I would of gone to Macstars barbeque..

    I'm in.

Will be changing the chain on the 250 so i'm gonna be all Smooof troughout the coro.

I'll see how I go aboout fixing up my camera mount again and take some lovely moves of the FXR pantom trough the twisties.

Sugestion for a stop: I'll be Stopping at the LoosBruce and DSS crosses for a few minutes or two as it was recently an aniversery of their trageny.

EDIT: Just realised that the Coro loop is the same day as Isaacs good bye BBQ. Hmmm, I may just tag along for a wee bit in that case (half coro) and then shoot off back to see Isaac off. Damn - 3 great friends leaving us at the same time - Ej, Macstar, and Banzay
