Have had a messgae from another KB who has domestic leave to come out for a ride on his R1.

Heard on the radio that there is a low approaching, hitting the South Island tonight BUT this in turn will make the weather on the East (Coromandel is east - right?) be in the high 20's tomorrow. Chance of a shower or two but not as bad as predicted on Metservice.

Get on the Southern Motorway and head south towards Hamilton. Papakura Autobarn is a big ass BP/McDonalds/other food place that is on the left after the Papakura offramp approx 5kms further on. It is signposted on the motorway.

Holy crap no! It's more like 1km, if that. If you come to Drury, you've gone too far.

If I get enough of my car repairs done before the start time, I might just go along for this ride.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
