Bugger. I thought there were the other type of mind-altering substances available.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

What brought the sale on? Something black in the future, or maybe gun-metal grey???
I've seen the bike, very tidy.

    so you have thrashed

its guts out and now you want to make it someone elses problem

My advice to all is never bike that has been raced. Or as my old daddy used to say "rolled bolled and arseholed"

He also said never bike a vehicle from some one you know - it will always end in tears." Damned if he weren't right on that as well.
Trip, trop, trip, trop, on my bridge, who's that walking on my bridge. Why it's you little Billy Goat, HO,HO,HO Im going to eat you up.

    So sayeth the TROLL

    Thrashed it's guts out??...I don't think so

    someone elses problem??...WTF?

You've obviously never ridden a bike with this much power, do you have any idea how hard it is to "thrash" a bike like this on the road?

    What do you ride again?

I would bet that all the 600's and 750's on this site have had a harder life than my 12.

It's hardly been a race bike, seeing the strip only 3 times and 1 trackday in over 4 years.

Dangerous : yeah I know that 12 you speak of...now that bike has a race/drag history.

I did wounder that ther had to be a reason why it was sent down here to sell.
A mate was looking at it but was put off by the few marks that are on it... he went for a Busa instead.

    Re: Zx 12-R

    Gidday Physco,
As a fellow owner, I have to agree with you there... It is nigh on impossible to "thrash" a 12.

I've got, just one deeply philosophical question, though :

You own the fastest production motorcycle on the planet , which also doubles as a bloody good tourer, what the hell do you replace it with :spudwhat:

    Enjoy the challange

Just asking...... dident mean it to be shit, and dont get man. Its most likely eralavent as being on paper is one thing (dyno readings) and put these two bike s side by side depending on road condition/rider etc you would think that the result would be differant every time.

    Re: The Mighty mighty "12"

    Physco,
All I can say, mate, is, enjoy the challange should it happen... and to those lost souls that still, painfully, hang on to the "Bus is better than the 12 argument" I say this

N.B I must hasten to add... Do yourself a favour and own one... (a 12, that is)

    C U

Hayabusa ownership is like especially when, even an average "12" can do this... to your so called "pride of the fleet"...

See you all at the next "Track-Day"...
