Far North road conditions

Summer, what a magical time...especially for fairweather riders like me and a few others (EJT)....Anyway me and EJT seem to be the furtherest KB members up here in the winterless north SO I'd thort I'd give those of you who are looking to head up round these part a quick heads up on the road conditions......

So from the FAR North down.

Cape reinga to awanui- beautiful riding - still ongoing road construction on last 16ks to the lighthouse.

Kaitaia to okaihau (westcoast) or Kerikeri (eastcoast) - excellent no major road constructions
Opononi to Dargaville (eastcoast) - excellent no majors that I know of
Kerikeri to Whangarei - roadworks especially between towai and Kawakawa, moerewa, not extreme but annoying!!!

Loops:
Mangamukas - Excellent no probs
Waipoua forest - Excellent
Matauri bay - mud give it a miss unless your cruzn
Twin Bidges - excellent
Old Russell road - open and good
Tutakaka - excellent
