Have a look at QuasiMoto gear when you are shopping for gear next. The leather pants I bought are very supple and almost a "worn in" feel although were brand new and a decent amount of cow has gone into them! I imagine the jackets are similar (soft-ish feeling from the very beginning)?

    I have found that to.
In the end it was that I was hanging onto the bars to tight and had my arms straight going into corners.
Which not only is hard on your elbows but makes the front of the bike dive as it transfers your body weight through the bars and onto the front forks.
With my elbows bent the difference is amazing.

They have both tight and loose.

Why do you call it gay???????
most defence forces around the world use it. Top sports swear by it.
I love it as it keep the sweat away and keeps you cool.
The fact that its under your jacket or shirt and cant be seen most of the time.
I wear them under a suit, under my work gear and off course on days like today when its stinking hot.
If you are behind meDont ask as I am lost too.

I use Nikwax Leather Restorer on it - it's brilliant! I've been using various leather products for about 35 years now, including Renopure, Bay Tan, SnoSeal, and a ton of other products I can't remember. This is the only product I've EVER used that's easy to put on (it's in a pump bottle), and that seems to have lasting showerproofing properties. All you do is spray a little over the leather, leave it a wee while, then spread it around / rub it in with a soft cloth. The bottle's supposed to treat two garments, but even being liberal and wasting it, I've treated my jacket and gloves three times now, and the bottle's still more'n half full.
Unlike the various waxes and greay treatments, this dries within minutes, and doesn't leave the leather sticky or greasy feeling.

Yeah, I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but it was a genuine surprise after so long to finally find EXACTLY what I was looking for: something that was so easy to use, and yet effective. I've worn my leather jacket and gloves in three heavy downpours, and no water got in.
Just got a new Arlen Ness leather jacket and no care instructions. Can you advise me the outlet where you get your Nikwax pump bottle from please....cheers

I bought it from AMPS, but I think Motomail sells it too - just ask for Nikwax Leather Restorer.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
