    The Delta's back

The Delta is finally back on the track after a rebuild on the front end. Refitted with some CBR front forks, and a (crash) shortened tail pipe. and Top secret carb mods. Also have a decent looking Tail section now thanks to TZ350...

Joined the Taumarunui Kart club and rented a track key for a year for $50 Took the bike down to the track for a couple of hours and set the jetting. Looking good and running great. Although a bit noisey cos of the modified exhaust. So have ordered some new packing.

Gave Grandma Wobbler a couple of laps, shit she wouldn't get off it . Had no option but to Black flag her in the end.

Taking the 5 hundy to Taupo for a Suzuki track day on Sat, might take the Delta as well and see if I can do a few laps.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone at Christmas.

Photos? Good luck on the GS500, there are a few of the older 450's and gsx400 raced in postclassic pre '82 down here. they arn't rocketships but ridden well can hold their own. Yours on the 17's and with the better brakes would be a cheap to run Pre'89 bike. I just scored a 85 XR600 i'm going to motard for cheap pre'89 fun.

Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.

I'll post some pics soon, might be able to get some at Taupo This Weekend.

The 5 Hundy is entered for the Pre-89's at Taupo. So we'll have a full on couple of days. I ran it at Manfield a couple of weeks ago and had a blast.

    Granma here.

I had such fun on the 'Delta' that I just couldn't stop riding.

Hopefully I can get another ride when we go to Mt Welly.
I keep telling the man that he has to share!......dont we get taught that at a very young age?

It's not me you're going to have to worry about mate. You should be more worried about keeping those old 2 strokes running for more than a couple of laps.

    Delta Pic

Dunno wot happened posted a pic today and it seems to have got lost in the KB Abyss somewhere.

Anyway here it is again. An updated pic of the Delta with New tailpiece and CBR600 front forks. I wanted to put on some Delta graphics but the cash is running a bit short, with trying to get 3 bikes ready for Taupo.

Wer'e ready to race. Taking the 5 Hundy and Delta to Taupo for a Suzuki track day on Saturday, Hoping Suzuki will let me do a few laps on the Delta to check the gearing.

Get a look at the pic before I get the chance to Trash the Bike again.
