Oh and yeah definitely an amazing day...
I was so nervous before I first went out, only time I have crashed is in the wet but I very glad I did it, even kinda got used to the back coming out a little
Got so much track time, Im very sore today
Also have to say a massive thanks to Vicki, what an awesome chick!
Loved the fact we got a girls only session hahahah and to the guys on the other side of me, there are plenty of things us girls have that you guys dont
And to that guy that went out on the track and caused those crashes because of his missing oil cap, I hope the other two that crashed hunt you down kick your ass and make you pay for any damage done, you dick!
Im sure Gatch has photos you somewhere!
But no it wasn't my oil cap... I don't use duct tape to keep my oil in either...![]()
Indeed and to lie to the officials and cry and ask for a refund too because your bike wasn't up to spec? It was already a cheap as day FFS and it caused others to have their day ruined...to you
Thank YOU fella AND your trustee crew of un to it volunteers! The wet sessions were horrid but I'm glad I made myself do it them. Thank gosh for the sun.and thanks heaps for the girls only session
FLAME of course was a total honey and it was good to follow her around - the lines I was taking in some corners were just hideous so it was good to get tidier ones shown and the indication for braking was great tooHope to feel a lot more comfortable on the bike next time

I have to say a big thanks to the organisers for putting on such a great day.
It was my first track day and I'm not ashamed to say I was a little nervous at first.
Everything was explained clearly, and it was easy for me to know what to do and when.
I thought collapsing the race and fast classes was a good idea - meant everyone got more riding in.
I had some great battles with some mates from Wellington - but unfortunately my inexperience showed through and I could not keep up with them.
I only had one time where I thought I might have an incident but fortunately I was able to keep the bike upright while causing no distress to other riders - mainly because they were all way out front
But I had an absolute ball, felt safe while doing so, and as a result will be back. That's what it's all about, right?
Thanks to everyone who shared their advice, whether it was directed to me or my mate. Your advice paid off and I felt I was going much faster by the time we left - although, the fact that it was dry helped a lot. It was good to meet the people that I got time to meet.
I had a major concern about track days and (some types of) people showing up causing needless incidents. It seems that my fears were unfounded yesterday but for the previously mentioned rider.
Once again, thanks VMCC and those volunteers that helped to make the day a great day.
Yes big thank you to the Vic Club! You are all legends! Everyone was very friendly, it was a great atmosphere and very well organised. One day when I'm not so selfish I'll roll my sleeves up and help.
