    I miss home *sob *sob

    I miss home.

Yes, the novelty has worn off slightely and Im a little homesick.

    1. Finding work wasnt as easy as I thought
    2. I miss normal people with manners
    3. It's so f***** hot here
    4. I sat my R E Motorcycle Learners yesterday, passed but cannot be issued it because I havent had my Oz Car license for a year. So its a whole year without riding. I wanna cry.

I have a very new appreciation for NZ that I now believe I took for granted.

Brisbane is a pretty awesome place don't get me wrong. But Im homesick.

Im gunna just sit here and slap myself I think lol.

    As you were.

You have to have your car license for a year? What the hell?
Can't you just transfer your NZ drivers license over?

    Just ride anyway.

Alternatively, I presume they have a method by which you can apply for an exemption like we do here in Godsown?

That 1 year rule is pretty bloody stupid... makes zero sense to me.
Partially your fault for not getting a license here.

Im checking through the Queensland Transport Authority website as I type this and will ring up on Monday regarding an Exemption or if I do have any other options. Fingers crossed!
