    Nürburgring respeck

Take a look at this, i was gob smacked and sat rivited for the whole clip.
You can see this guys is just driving on the edge of the envelope but in the zone watch how he keeps tightening his shoulder straps.
I wonder how well he'd be doing up against Rossi or Stoner.
If your as blown away at this as i was make a comment.

Well it looks like this guy lives on the track, serious intimate knowledge there.

There's no way a casual racer is gonna pitch up and beat that in a few days.

Also, no bike is going to be able to out-grip a car on a twisty, bumpy track like that.

    Thanks, was interesting...

I drive just like that on my xbox. Take away the fear of death and its pretty easy.

That is a pretty mean effort, would love to be a passenger on that sort of a lap.

Yeah that driver is well versed on the Nurburgring, very impressive though I must say.
There was a link to a clip of the R35 Nissan GTR do the same track, I found that probably even more impressive.

Incredible. I think 8 mins is the standard for sports cars, so pretty amazing time. Don't know what a good time is on a bike, but I don't think anything on 2 wheels will be close.

That there looks like a Radical SR8 a road legal trackday car

I'd love one of those to play with. Maybe I'll win lotto.

By way of comparision Helmut Dahne (the great BMW rider) holds the full record on an stock RC30 at 7.49 (I think) before they stopped racing bikes there.

That was somepiece of driving To be able to push the limits like that on such a long track is amazing. Like there were a few corners where 2 wheels were on the grass so its not like he could push any harder
