    SS600 tyre rule clarification

For those on here interested in this.

I have just spoken with Paul Stewart about this rule to clarify exactually what it means

    "quote"
    3-7 Tyres

    a. Tyres V, Z or W rating must be used. Only tyres on general sale to the public in New Zealand as road legal fitments will be permitted. For all events other than endurance races only one set of tyres per meeting will be allowed for races counting towards the MNZ Sports production Championship.

Paul's awnser to this was, Practise and Qulify is totally open to the amount of tyres used

"Racing only" One front tyre, and 2 rear tyres are allowed to be used for the races.

Wets are as they always were

I understood it to mean qualifing and both races for your one front and two rears...but you can use ,used tyres to practise and set up on.
Its a shame they don't clarify things like this alot better in the rules...having rules that are open to interpritation makes things uncertian an confussing.
