You have not been looking in the right places mate. There still exists a few little bubbles of "normal" up in these parts.

To be fair though, it is getting busier here. Yeah, breathe your mountains, like I breathe my summer holiday beach...LOL

But rednecks are welcome down here!!!

BTW: was sunny in Riviera of the South when I left for the KB get-together on Friday, thought I was set for a wrm time but no, wet-as from Waihole to Wakouaiti and overcast the rest of the way to danseys.
Was patchy sun in Dunners when I went to my sons graduation on Saturday BUT no sun at all, ever, at Danseys - in fact when getting back there on Sat night the drizzle only started a km from the camp.

The supposed crappy weather down here keeps the majority of loser 'tough' gang-members up north, getting a job of shovelling frozen-to-death penguins don't appeal to much to the soft-cock work-shy losers.

Tell me about it! I am right in the middle of my 6 days off work at the moment and I had big plans for a decent ride and camping trip. Was trying to decide which direction to travel in terms of striking better weather. Have been scratching my head trying to figure out the forecast... but today I thought I would just try my luck and head towards the Catlins. Had to ride through a big wall of water heading into Dunedin only to come out in much colder, greyer and wetter climate on the south side. Decided to turn around and go back home to try my luck again tomorrow.
