Well you shouldn't, Slipstream, as you haven't done anything wrong. And no-one (including WT) was getting at you - it was all aimed at the bureacratic madness.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

So there's obviously ways around it, if you're devious.
And thats the way of this and a lot of other legal situations / laws etc

Play it square up the middle and you get a royal screwing from everyone yet the people that really deserve a good screwing just don't care and don't play by the rules. They tend to get away with it, particularly they know that there is no one going to chase them too hard or far.

That must frustrate the heck out of those who are charged with ensuring the law is followed. Joe Honest tries to do the right thing and pays the price of this frustration... Can't get the target we want so we will hit the target we have...

Shit I'm glad I have a good marriage and grown up kids...

For sure, I have heard of many stories about beneficiaries who knew how to milk the system to it's fullest. Legally and otherwise.

It's also annoying how those in power don't give all the information you need as well in order to make informed decisions and actions, unless you know to ask for it. Would pay to seek some excellent legal advice Jimmy, although as said before, it may not be cheap.

I agree leagal advice is not cheap. But sometimes if you are lucky enough, you find someone in the government trenches, who is actually in the know.

I have found a person (and a backup) in most, if not all, government departments necessary for me, who have actual knowledge (and willingness to find out if they don't) of their own specified jobs, as well as touching on any job surrounding them.

They're a gold mine I tells ya. So much less hassle and torture if you find one.
It took me 5 years to find the ones I have

They have helped, decrease payments and even sometimes erase them completely, found other entitlements for me, prevented warrants, and all sorts of other things.... the only time I get f**ked over now is when the system hasn't been upgraded.

Why do people who are honest get screwed most of the time and those are dishonest are doing the screwing?

    Stupid system

On a side note....why do you pay taxes to pay for rubbish disposa and then have to buy rubbish bags/ bins?

Gotta say, I haven't read this whole thread cos you f****** c**ts swear too f****** much and my webmarshall at work blocks access...

From my experience, the family courts are so friggin biased against the men that the woman needs to be an absolute complete total nutter before you have any hope of getting any sort of acceptable outcome. And even then it took CYF, 4 months in court to get "possession" (cos it was another 2 years of arguing before it became custody) and thank God I was "poor" in the eyes of the legal aid people - $7000 in legal fees at legal aid rates, which are about half what a good lawyer charges.

Best bet if you're not trying to get custody and can agree on access - minimise your taxable income. Talk nicely to the boss, sort out a deal where you're a "contractor" so you can write tons of crap off against your income since you're "self-employed"... it's only tax evasion if you get caught.

    Hey WT

Hate to admit it but I worked for Child Support for a while doing their legal work. Then went on to the tax investigations side before being poached by one of the big firms (thank god!!!).

PM me if you have any specific questions. Prefer not to dish out advice online and without all the facts.
