Good to hear the 1100GS served him well, pity he couldn't push the NZ ride/road experience a bit more. Sounds like a comfortable/versitile bike for touring.

Just checked the word count... and at just shy of 750 words, it happens to be spot on for a "mini-feature" for a certain magazine I write for... and Dave/Moko contributed to, once upon a time.

Their loss was my website's gain!

Of course, it would be excellent to have the NZ tour expanded upon - I'd happily run a full feature on Dave's trip (although some help might be needed with photos - I believe a wet trip to a volcano caused considerable damage to cameras and films...) on the site.
