I absolutely love this, ever since I first saw it in cycle World.

Kenny Dreer spent a lot of his own money to get it to the state of being near production ready. They also hand built 50 signature series of this (or a bike near this spec I dont recall exactly) and sold them all within a week or so.

I had my name on their mailing list, and was waiting for them to finalise pricing and availability/delivery. They asked me for a $500USD deposit which in hindsight I should have paid (I would have got a hat and sweatshirt at least). The money was going to be held in some escrow account so if they didnt deliver I would have got the money back. From memory the really desirable one would have worked out at then current exchange rates at about $18k NZD (plus shipping and delivery here). Issues I foresaw were parts/servising and backup but at the time I thought it was the nicest bike I had ever seen.

Kenny Dreer had a long career in restoration and upgrading Nortons and competition. Google VR 880 and Vintage REbuilds to get some of his work.

He is in the latest CW as well: at age 60 odd he is running sub 6 second quarters on some insane drag bike. Amazing.

If you can use the Internet, you can use the search function. The little darlings get hand held all the way through school without a hint of "fail" anywhere.

    Welcome to the world.

Not sure what im supposed to be searching for man.

I was taking the piss out of his pathetic self righteous rant about the search function. I included a quote to illustrate my point (which was found doing a search).

I just dont see the point of dribbling on about a repost, when at least it was interesting and something I missed previously. More interesting to me than a fair whack of the stuff on here.

The first post was a bit fucking abstract granted, sarcasm is often lost on forums.

Apologies for the thread jack. It wont be continued by me, this is feeble enough in itself. Peace

Mint bike though, id love a cafe racer but, commuting calls for an entirely more boring/sensible beast.

    There was a poll too.

    Thread jacking is perfectly acceptable.
