It sure is an awesome looking bike. I put my name down for one 2 years ago via their website. Nothing! Not even a email.

Reckon with the current financial environment it may be a little longer than 2009 for the bike to appear.

Have just been reading an article in Classic Bike mag and plans are to be selling this model in the English summer. They lookn at around 200 units this year and selling direct to UK customers and overseas dealers.
They also mention a road Rotary based on the race model but enlarged to 700cc and putting out 200bhp.Flights of fancy?? Triumph better hope so haha.

No pricing but CLASSic is never cheap.

I for one am all for this getting up and running..."bring it on"as current roadbikes bore me rigid, souless over teched over weight and over sold.

Know what you mean and my dream bike is a Norton Commando 850 with no oil leaks, great electrics, complete reliability, 80hp,........which is why I ride a modern duke.

The Norton project has been simmering along for many years and the only likely way it'll produce bikes is if someone like Richard Branson decides to invest just because they like bikes.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

OK, so after Kenny Dreer's go round imploded, the new Norton people who owned the rotary rights also bought all the remaining IP from Kenny Dreer, and moved it back to Blighty

looking at stuff on youtube (airbag suits and helmets) this video was linked. Not sure "which" March issue is referenced but: looks right, sounds right, Ohlins front and rear: where do I sign?
