    Keeway clutch cable

    the clutch cable on my bike keeps breaking at the clutch leaver end. took it 2 the dealer they fixed it an a couple weeks later the same thing happend the guys at the shop said they havnt had this problem before anyone got any ideas why it keeps breaking

    It's because it's not swiveling in the lever which is causes the end to whip backwards and forth on the cable, effectively causing a stress fracture. If you don't fit that, no cable will last more than a few weeks.

    Perhaps the end that was used was the wrong size, or the end/hole in the lever hasn't been correctly lubed (just a touch of grease will do it fine).

    Odd that the shop cant help you solve that one given who sells them. Anyhow what he said and once you have that done get some one to move the lever while you have a look at the movement of the cable just to see if you can see anything that does not look right.
    Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
