    RF400 muffler replacement or repair

As the topic states, I am needing to replace or repair the muffler on my rf400 (just sorted out all the fairings on it, and now the damaged muffler sticks out like nothing else). I was thinking of either making up a heat shield for it, and cover up the damage, or replace it. The question is, can you buy pre-made stainless heat shields that can be fitted (with alteration to the muffler of course). The other option is replacing the entire muffler, but other than the cost of the muffler itself, how should I expect to pay to get it fitted (in chch), and will I need to get it certified, for WOF and plod purposes. Other than that, would it seem possible to get a muffler of another suzuki (of similar size), and fit that (to try and avoid the need for getting it certified). The muffler that I am looking at is http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-195009075.htm. Am I correct in assuming that most good muffler shops should be able to fit that.
