Aye, Merry Birthday and Happy Christmas Ian.

I take it #1 son didn't bake the cake. It looks delicious and positively normal . (Unlike that pseudo-chimeric meat creation)

Thanx, Fire Eyes, Swoop, Magua and Phurrball!
The cake? It was a present from myself to myself (and to the CubicleDweeboids I work with).
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

They're cunning this year - basically no presents for either!

Thanks, Blossom - you have a Merry one too! Don't worry - I'm taking the laptop, and the hotel has free broadband.

    Durr.... Um.. Thanx Tom.

I think I may have cocked up here. When I signed up, I put the oldest date I could - 1908. I'm not really a centenarian. If you peruse the thread, you'll find a clue to my real age...

    Mental age, you say?
    That'd be 8.

(I can't be bothered starting a new thread so here's some news of our travels in this one..)
San Francisco is OK, but we missed our second Christmas Day (left Christmas Day at 19:30, arrived Christmas Day at 10:30am) because the vifferbabe was dreadfully ill. Spent all Second Christmas Day in bed sleeping, then got up lateish on the 26th.

Dunno what day it is now (Saturday?) but we walked down to the Farmer's Market (one of many) at the Ferry Building (Pier 1), then walked all around the shoreline on the Embarcadero, past all the various piers, to Fishermans Wharf (Pier 39), had crab cakes and chips, walked on up to Pier 47, then walked up Columbus then through Grant Street (Chinatown), to our hotel which is right at the Chinatown Gate).
Here's a photo to keep this post on bikes, taken near Pier 15:

No, that was in September. We're in San Francisco now. Please try to keep up.

Yeah, then she got sick again (different ailment) last night when we went out to a very nice (and bit pricey) restaurant. Apparently two-thirds of the Mutant Spawn are also sick with flu. I'm glad they're 27 bazillion miles away...
