Smile Class for Old Skool ZX7RRs etc?

    Hi guys
Just wanting to know if here in the South-Island is there a class for the old ZX7s, GSXRs etc be it a fun social class or a balls out class??
Ive got a ZX7RR that ive owned for 9 odd years and ive done approx 1500km in the last 5 years on it and while road riding is now something I dont really do any more due to pouring our money into motox Id love to do a bit of road-racing but more on the fun social side, i did 250 proddy racing back in the early to late 90s and would love to relive those days for sure.
If there aint any classes at the club days at Rarapuna Im sure it would be a great fun and cheap class to create:

In Motorcycling Canterbury events usually the classes are split "senior" which is the old rules for F1 and F2, the other class being Junior which covers F3, Pro twin etc. !25GP is run with Junior, with a split grid / start. We also have Clubmans, (self explanatory).
I suggest you go to www.motorcyclingcanterbury.org.nz and join up. Then you'll get lots of info about events etc. A calendar is also on the site, next ride opportunity is Feb 14th at Ruapuna, "Have a go". Plenty of support and tuition if you need it.
Also if you have any young ones (10 years and up) that are keen, contact me directly (I'm the junior coord)

P M me and I'll put you in contact with a group of riders in Blenheim with similar interest and of the "same vintage". They're right up to speed and I'm sure will help out as much as pos.
