So I thought I would post this for everyone who hasn't all ready to see:
-The all new Wankel (teh hee) rotary engine powered 588 Norton supersport!. Anyone who has driven a rotary car knows that for a 1.3 liter car they seem to pull like something with more than twice the engine size, and due to the lack of generally all things valves and rods they are really light. I'm guessing that's Norton's plan when they built this. 201 will be made, with one road going version to be shown in 2009. And get this... ONLY WEIGHS 130 KG'S!

-Though this is really old news, I was still oblivious until this morning and I thought there must be other people just waiting to know as well

Oh yea sorry I made it sound like I meant there will only be one road bike for sale. I meant they will only be releasing one version for the road, no different models of it. I bet all 200 of them are already prepayed for!
It will be interesting to see how such a different engine will stack up against the IL4's and Aprilia's new V4 588cc rotary will be pretty power full. Anyone know if it would fit into the 600 class or SuperBike?

Forgot to mention the engine is from 14 years ago, modified to make it burn cleaner and perform better for todays standards. If it's successful then they may carry on making it... Which will probably warrant making a new engine from scratch. Imagine how much more light and powerful that one will be! Looks like a slightly larger Honda rs125 under the fairings:

I remember the Norton Rotary from the first time around. Wupped everyone around the IOM. I think they classed it as a 600 because it made about 100 BHP back then. However fitted with an ejector exhaust it made a lot more power.
there was one at the Classic weekend a few years ago. It sounded like a rotary at idle, but once it was revved up a bit, it didn't sound like anything even remotely like either a rotary or IL4. Plus huge flames on the overrun,
