If any of the KB racers want pictures of themselves, let me know. If you haven't seen a picture of yourself I may have one but would need to know number and colour of bike, and colour of helmet and or leathers...
Some wicked pics people!
Anyone got one of #55 honda CBR600rr, Red leathers, red arai helmet...?
Was my the first time id ever ridden the bike (as it arrived in the country 4 days ago... haha)

a much better day this time round! the crowds were huge, and the bridge was a real asset. made the track crossings when the gates were open smaller and didnt hold the racing up as long.
got some video of black beauty and the britten and will upload to youtube when i get some time. bought a britten hat from suzuki and got it signed by both earl bamber and stroud... gonna give it to dad for his birthday, lol.

Sorry to disappoint... and be picky, but it was a Toyota and not black beauty doing the Demo....
My only gripe for the whole day is,"What the F was the 4x4 doing parading in front of Earl Bamber on his demo laps for?
I'm sure Earl can work out where the track goes......
It would be like a man with a flag walking in front of Stroud on the Britten.....
Other than that, I spent the whole day in the esses, and wow, a few bins in there. Lucky no injuries at that part of the track.
The bikes were fair flying through there. The 600's were really hard to recognise, and it wasn't until the last race that I could tell which one Sparkybills was on.....
It was a mission just to get him to do that.
The permit from Motorsport NZ had him restricted to no more than 100kph, no stopping (for burnouts etc etc) and he had to follow a course car, which of course only did 60kph.
Before he went out we were all quite worried it was going to look a bit stupid, because the TRS cars arnt supposed to go that slow, and when they do, they bunny hop along and such, but since it was detuned etc for the occasion, it seemed to go around quite smoothly.
I can tell you Earl was keen as for some burnouts, doughy's etc etc, but if he did he risked not getting a permit from Motorsport NZ to do any demo runs in the future in A1GP car, shame really.
It was my first day ever attending bike racing and it was a interesting experience, you guys must be all mad to try that stuff!!![]()
