    3 Gorges (28 Dec)

Hubby and myself are going for a leisurly tomorrow - Sunday to cruise the 3 gorges - Ashley, Waimack and Rakaia.
Its meant to be a boomer day, so if your interested we meet at The Peg, Belfast 10am, on the road by 10.30.
Will be heading out via Rangiora and Loburn, so can stop on our way to meet others if wanted.
Pitt stops along the way - Oxford and Methven.
    Any other suggestions welcomed.

It's a nice ride around the three Gorges, but bugger it all I've got to work today. So you all have a good one and I'll catch up on the next one if I can.

It was a great day and great to catch up with you guys again.
If anything it was getting to hot and after I left you I did go around the Bays and the roads were melting.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

I knew you wouldnt be able to help yourself by going round the bays
    To tempting not to!
You obviously got home in one piece, so you managed the sticky tar.
That was something I noticed on the way back from the Rakaia gorge, the smell of the hot tar. It made me aware to avoid it as best as poss. The joys of summer!

    Awesum!!

Had to wait till now to post.... Had things to do.... what a great way to spend the day. Was the first time I'd done that ride and I really enjoyed it.... will do that again real soon. Only thing I learnt was that I need some lighter weight gear to ride in cause man it was hot!!!
