Wink Waikaia Rally (9-11 Jan 2009)

Just to avoid any more confusion, I telephoned the Waikia Pub today to find out when their rally is on.

Its the 9th 10th January, they said they will always have it on the same weekend in January.

Will try and get them to email me a prepaid thingy to post to this log.

Its a great rally folks, so try and support it.

Can you tell us what "all weather facilites" covers. Does that mean there is somewhere to crash if you don't have a tent?

LOL, They use the local rugby club grounds where there are showers, toilets and for the Sat night a large hall for band etc. The Pub is next door where the Friday night entertainment is based.
If you're a fisherman, then bring ya rod. They tell me its good in these parts.

Had never even heard of Waikaia before now! checked it out on the map, looks like an interesting place in the middle of nowhere and a great ride (for me), Brothers Grimm are a top band and the facilities sound excellent so yeah!! I should be there!
