Wanganui street races are comming up soon. Would be cool if a whole group of us could go there together. Anyone interested???

Find i'm free for the day also, so could well be in for a ride up !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Keen as ... but will do the more "fun route" than boring state highway 1, take in Shannon, back of Palmy, Feilding, Halcombe, out through Marton to Turakina picking up a few suspects on the way

If you guys that are coming to the races want bike security for the day.The Wanganui Triumph Owners have a secure lock up where you can leave your bike, helmets, and jackets.Cost is $10.00.We are in the Framlands carpark as well as pump and valve carpark.Just come off the main bridge into Wanganui go right around the round about and you cant miss it.

    Update

Update on the plan for boxing day. Im thinking about arriving at the duck pond at 6am, waiting around then leaving at 630am, leaving plenty of time to stop for second breakfast, and be in the wangas for the first race. I know this might be a bit early for some, but fuk it i want to make the most of the day, and take the more scenic route.

Wanting to go the long way through the Waiarapa's, out to fielding, then across to Wanganui. Take some scenic roads rather than the long boring straights littered with cops ll . Although this is weather dependant, if weather is shit then im taking the shortest and fastest way there, or taking a cage (fuking hope not tho, jezz, who would take a cage to a bike event lol).

Any opinions on the more interesting start of the morning (the fun roads )??? Too far ??? or not enough lol .
