    At this stage it looks as though the weather forecaster may have been wrong in terms of rain. But it is certainly very windy.

    Weather review again later, say 4:30pm?

    For those of us in Wellington interested in social motorcycle riding this evening, it looks like it will be fine but bloody windy. We can discuss the finer details of intinerary at the designated pre-departure rendezvous point (The Petone Wharf, from 6:30pm, ready to ride at 7:00pm). Who knows, the wind may have dropped by then!
