    Jet skis?

I want one. It's up on my "Will buy" list. (After reading a Boat Trader Magazine + Seeing holidayers playing around the Coopers Beach).

Question: Does this require any license and etc? Whos got one?

This baby looks like a ZX14 on water

At least do a "day skippers" course.
The number of knob jockey's that blatantly break the "5knot's within 100mtrs of shore" rule is a disgrace.
People and kiddies swim with these losers very close by.
I might cop a slagging for this, but NZ should follow Aus boat rego/licensing system.

They're pretty similar to riding a quad bike and an absolute ball of fun. I used to want one until I discovered road bikes

they are cool fun to play around on and pretty easy to drive/ride/whatever....

don,t however have two jetskis collide at high speed because it is not so much fun that way.................and it breaks them

Cool in the short term but lose the appeal pretty quick.

For water thrills ditch the bang-juice and strap a 13m kite and board to ya.

We had a jet boat for skiing a couple of summers back. It cost similar to a jet ski and we could do a hell of a lot more with it than if we'd had a jet ski. I'd buy another jet boat in a heartbeat. To me a jet ski would get boring very quickly.

Our jet boat was similar to this...

Some people love them. Dean P is living on Waiheke and reckons they are mint.

I divide how many days in the year you can actually use it by the cost.

We are going to do some more product reviews in the mag - I'll have a fang and see if I change opinions.

A well maintained Sportster holds reasonable resale price.

I see Harley is thinking recession by offering a minimum trade in price for sporty buyers in the states, that aside ive a good mate with an immaculate sporty still in his garage after attempting to use it as a trade in on a new FWT%X whatever he bought last year, they would have been better to be honest and tell im they didnt want a trade rather than offer him what they did,as i said the thing is mint.http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/
