ok... suzuki one i was think you have got to be shitting me! and then laughed my arse off!
But also have to say the kawasaki one was pretty damn funny too... wonder whether that would work at a breath/roadside stop!

right... back to the ride! if the forecast and weather outside aint looking good friday night, it will be cancelled (check here). as stormy weather like last weekend would not be fun. however if its just showers etc it will still be on

I may have my bike in the shop for the next week getting it's scratches buffed out but otherwise looking good

It's going to be intersting to see what's harder. 600km and a trackday in 24hrs (like last weekend) or 2000km in 48hrs

Think a tail bag or something will be in order for this one.

I can second that. Headed over the parapara's on sunday arvo, MAN it got snotty up there. Was fine either side, but through the ranges was BUCKETING down and low visibility even in a cage. Not good fun

I’m sorry, but I voiced my concern, and still do not think it is appropriate for someone who has just gained their restricted licence and only done a few country rides to come on this ride, because it is a very long ride and lots of winding country roads and the rest of the group probably won’t be travelling at his pace, particularly towards the end of the day as he hasn’t had any long distance experience and that will be when we head through the paraparas. I know that many of you think I may not be experienced enough to comment, but I have been riding for many years and since joining KB have seen too many crashes of people pushing themselves past their abilities, you may well think otherwise, but it is still not something I condone.

My main concern is the safety of everyone coming on the ride, and their enjoyment.

Has everyone taken note in the change of time? Meeting at Papakura BP/autobarn for quick talk at 6:45, leaving 7am sharp!

Indeed, as i think is the case for all of us
This will be a long, demanding ride for all of us, even those with experience. But i am also positive the enjoyment shall be high
All of us who have arranged rides know it aint easy, and i bet we all wish we'd said no to people before (i certainly wish i had, those who know that one know it all too well ) At the end of the day Trace: Your ride, your call

All gravy, i will get in on some more of the shorter rides and hopefully get chance to meet up with some of you before i try doing the north island in a day.

Its cool to know that you guys aren't gonna tell me to take hard pills and try it for obvious reasons. Don't want to be the one who decorates the valley with body parts.

Hopefully will see some of ya out on rides in the near future!
