Indeed - my mind is both above and below now.... but yes I concur I do like to stop and rest and look around! AND I reckon those sheep would've tasted just like candy floss

Sounds like a great idea! The planets just need to align and the gas money has to be flowing though. As much as I might sound like a *hardout tourer girl* I very rarely get an opp to just up and disappear for a day or a couple as I did in this instance.....this was my quick burst of mad mummy time before I get back to work Tuesday and we prepare Sully one for school. Things will be a bit home and school centered for me for the next wee while.

Great write up and good photo's - isn't it the greatest feeling to be on a great bike and on no-ones agenda and timetable but your own?! Fantastic stuff.

Good on ya Numero Uno rides and reports like this just show others that it's just a matter of throwing your leg over and doing it.

LOL fair question. Try again looking for Kumeu (25km NW of Auckland). At 100kph? Bank on 9 1/2 hours or so.

What you get will depend on the effectiveness of the most recent course of meds. Not looking good so far but nothing good makeup won't cover... mostly
