    Communication breakdown

So I rock up to work at 8:30 this morning.

Production manager: "What are you doing here?"

    Me: "Working"

Production manager: "You don't start till the 12th"

    Me: "Fuck off??"

    Me: "Seriously?"

    Production Manager: "Seriously"

    Me: "Fuck!"

So I'm a bit pissed that I got up early (for me) for no reason but hey I've got another week to get out on my bike and relax.

    Has anyone done something similar?

Sucks how I AM back at work today and no one is telling me that I shouldn't be here

I think you should get away from the computer and go enjoy the sun (if the weather down there's as nice as it is in Auckland today) since you got an extra week off

I wanted to go in today & get things sorted for the new year, being the company owner & all, but my staff have slapped a ban on me working until the 12th. Makes up for the fact that i didnt take a holiday at all last year.

Huh. I got "asked" on Christmas Eve if I could work through this Xmas.

I feel like I'm working for James Deuce's employers...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
