Wellington - cheap fibre-glasser

I need a tail-piece narrowed down to suit the race bike (OK, it's a Bucket - that's why it should be cheap).

The tail piece is a fibreglass ZX9R replica and I plan on taking 50-70mm out of it's width. Never done fibre-glassing and don't have the gear. I don't want to stuff it up either as it's Skunk Controls!
