We've now got quite a few suggestions, so I'll make it into a poll this weekend.

Well, after having been to the Roxburgh Raaly last night I'd have to say the Roxburgh Racing Club facilities would have to be considered for next years southern KB get-together.

Has no accom. as such but :
    (a) Is isolated from the town and general public
    (b) Has good cooking facilities, toilets, hot running water and a hall.
    (c) Tons of good camping area
    (d) Still only 3km or so from Roxburgh
    (e) Very cheap.
    (f) Handy for people arriving from either coast or 'down the middle'.
    (g) Motels down the road for those that need a proper bed or shower.

    Just my thoughts

You could always ask the Cromwell Racing Club or Oamaku Racing Club, rather large areas there for camping etc and toilets etc.
