Hey Glen, sorry van is full, but if can get bike up think Skunk has trailer space can sort out some room in cabin (if I get around to booking one, else we are on the street. Not sure I can afford a bordello by the hour, Geeze woman, no I don't want any 'extras' I just want to sleep. I'm an important racer).
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

TZRF is running thanks to Kendog spending some of his precious time here helping and Trudes lending a clutch lever and perch. Give it a nylon and tune tomorrow and off to the Hawkes Bay we go. ZX1R is a different story with it having everything it needs (fuel, spark and timing) - but nothing actually working. See how time goes tomorrow.

Now don't be like that, your just learning it takes more than being able to fly around the track in winning style to be a successfull bucket racer. To realy be good at buckets you have to know something about what makes bikes go and your bucket is kindly giving you the opportunity to learn something that will be usefull to you.

Time to get on the net and learn something about the principles behind points coil condensor plug and battery and how ignition systems work and then go back with some understanding and look at each piece in turn. There is only five bits to your ignition system, how hard can it be?

Well, The TZRF didn't go to Hastings. It's running on the gearbox oil.

The ZX1R did go to Hastings. Runs quite well for brief moments First time I left pit lane and made it as far as the start finish line. Second time I made it further - all the way to turn one

Turns out the flywheel started free wheeling as soon as I backed off the throttle Oh, well, live and learn.
