    Removing ZXR250 fuel tank

    Hello,

I am removing the fuel tank on my ZXR250C this weekend for repainting. I searched and the only useful thing I could find was to set the fuel switch to OFF. There won't be much fuel in the tank at all, though I will keep a bucket nearby. Is there anything else I should know for removing a fuel tank completely, or is it pretty easy?

    Thanks.

make sure the tank is empty it makes easier to lift off and easier to work with.

PM Skidmark, he's had a bit of trouble round here - but he lives and breathes that bike model, so I'm sure he could set you straight on removing the tank

.... back in green and feeling great ....

yeah you have to undo the bolts that hold it on.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

I think you gotta have the fuel tap on on or reserve because of the vacuum fuel tap. I know I had to.

Then just undo the clamps and take the hoses off. Might need some pliers for that.
