FXR150 master cylinder - piston removal

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to get the piston out of an FXR150 master cylinder ?

There don't appear to be any external clips holding it in.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated

There should be a circlip. I just had a look at the service manual and the process seems to be

    1. Remove dust boot
    2. remove circlip
    3. pull everything else out.

Would have posted the manual page but can't seem to pull one page out of the PDF.
Manual is available on the forums at
    http://www.fxr150.co.nz/
although I had to install firefox to download it.

    Hi Henk,

    Awesome. Thanks.

I tried to remove the boot initially but it didn't want to be removed so I gave up, not wanting to damage it.

Seems like a bit more BF is required............

    Cheers, Mark
