Just had service, new chain and sprockets and new brake pads all round just incase, both front calipers ad to be overhauled too, so should be getting those back on tomorrow.

just a noob question does a chain and sprocet set have to be run in? or is it good to go? (what i man is will i still be sweet for this ride)

Even if you did have to run it in the best way to do it would be riding.
    Guess what we're doing?

yes you're good for the ride, but the new chain will stretch a little bit and need adjusting first time earlier than usual. For myself i "boot gauge" a new chain for the first 350kms or so then do normal maintinence and adjusting from there

Might come along, not many more rides left on the chew fiddy before it gets upgraded

put your boot underneath the chain and lift. Dont forget the eyecromiter though.
