Great day today. My first go at the flying and standing quarter. Will be back for more with some gearing changes. Best times of the day were 273.42kph for flying and 10.484 sec for standing. Hope for some cooler weather to increase that top end as well.
Great vid Bounce really shows just what it's like. That's to all the marshalls and the Cliffhanger team.

Here's a short clip of the run from my zx6 - seems I need to go up a tooth on the front though as it made rev limiter every time. Anyways few of the guys were interested in the cam so check it out..

Yeah , Well run event and excellent commentry. Had the same issue with hitting the rev limiter in top gear a few hunderd meters before the timing gear. One less tooth on the back would have been ideal (and colder air temp).
Some interesting bikes like the 900SS turbo and a GSRX1300 with NA mods that took it to 306 kmh. Tazman's software was working well with all the run times on the board at the end of each run.
Ended up getting tired from having too many runs !

Roll on the hill climb !

had a great day, got 227 on the flying and that was my second run, 11.4 on the standings, not bad for an old gixer.
had it tapped out on every run so maybe the tail wind helped a bit and like others need to change the gearing.
thanks to cliffhanger and the helpers.

The gsx sounded good on the flying , must be a solid bike to take a thrashing 28 years after being made !

Yup she took a good thrashing, but shes starting to leak so might be time to retire her from the sprints and look for a 300 plus bike, will still use it for the hillclimb tho (a personal goal to beat mr fairbrother up there on his triumph yeah right lol ).

i had a fantastic day!! even tho the bike wouldnt boost on the second flying run haha but man the potential it has!!
i am re-building it now with a full paint job also

hope to be fully ready for the september race!! aiming at 270ish plus and atleast a 10 sec standing!!
the tubro made a huge difference!! i was hitting the limiter 200 meters before the start line!! and i had a 15/41 sprocket setup!!

i turned my boost tap the wrong way and it boosted 20lb!! lmao blew a hose off the turbo and didnt runu right since then stripped the motor down and it all looks good inside but am replacing the pistons etc to suit the 18/20lb im after so i can get the 200hp from the 2V oil cooled motor :P

still after my goal of 300kmh/ 200hp/ low 9 sec ducati
wish me luck and see you out there!!!
