Brembo rear pump (or master cylinder?) question

OK, first off I have to admit my brake knowledge is relatively new and not in any, way authoritative.
With that in mind, here we go (sorry for the long post):

I have a Brembo rear pump (or master cylinder?) off a 2004 Husqvarna SM 450 R that I believe I need to replace the seals in. The internal slide wont travel back down the cylinder as there is too much friction from what I believe is contaminated and bloated seals. The spring appears to be fine.
As such, I have been searching for the seals and come up with almost nothing.
There are two Husqvarna part numbers: 8A00 76026 and 8000 76338 (not sure which one I need) or, I believe its Brembo part number is 10.5556.20.

So I can order a new, shiny, Husqvarna provided, Brembo rear pump at some extraordinary price (although I've been told this is the price you pay for owning european bikes ) or just replace the seals. I've been given the information from multiple sources that you cant service this particular rear pump. I hope this information is wrong - although the people who told me this know far more than I do. Brembo also have information that kinda support this on their website.

This is where I need your guys and gals help. I need to find a replacement whether it be second hand, brand new, alternative replacement, or replace the seals (if I can).

So here are the place's I've tried to get the issue sorted:
I've tried Pacific Seals here in Wellington who said they could start to make me some in a few weeks time at $15 a seal which is my backup plan if the knowledgeable KiwiBiker community cant help me.

I also tried Seal Imports Ltd. They had nothing but the guy referred me to Buckets'n'Bits. He also gave me another lead which I'm yet to check out.
BTW: The guy at Seal Imports Ltd was excellent (wish I could recall his name) - it sounds as if he rides also. He was very helpful indeed and went out of his way to try to help me out. If your reading this, thank you very much for trying to help.

Bryce from Buckets'n'Bits didn't have the part that I needed and was actually quite rude. I felt like I was very unwelcome there, even though the helpful chap from Seals Imports was the one to set up the meeting - enough said about that I think!

The only other place I've been told of is to see if Eurobike (being the Brembo agents?) have a service kit for it - but I'm not holding my breath.

Any other ideas anyone?

Obviously I'm looking to get on the bike as soon as possible as I'm itching for a ride on it. Otherwise I'll just have to wait until business's fully open up next week and the bike can sit there and taunt me

the guy (the manager) from seal imports does ride. I went in there recently for some small O rings and not only was he able to supply exactly the part info I wanted, but we had a good talk about bikes. Second the BnB guy can be a bit like that.

Have you tried ABC (auto brake and clutch) in Wgtn? Any other make of bike use this same model master cylinder?

Good evening Bryce, that was the first time I met you. So I don't know what other time I didn't listen to you seeing as I've never met you before.
I wasn't going to go in to the issue but seeing as you've responded, and for the benefit of everyone else, yes you did offer to match it up but, to be quite honest the offer seemed quite disingenuous.

You made me feel like a real prize prick for interrupting your day and I left feeling sorry that I made the trip out from over the hill to come and see you.

I apologise if I misinterpreted the way that you dealt (or intended to deal) with me.

I've asked for help here as you really did not seem interested. Let's stop the name calling and just leave it there shall we?

Hopefully someone else will know what make/model uses the same brake pump. I, unfortunately do not

What diameter is the cylinder bore - they tend to be "standard" sizes. You might be able to find somethng at Repco, if you can find a sales assistant who has half a clue.

Eg I was able to put the seal from a madza 323 clutch slave cyl into a Mitsi Galant - both being 19mm diameter. Worked fine.

Powerstop Engineering in Tauranga will be able to overhaul the unit at a very reasonable cost. The guy is Rob & his number is 07 5788909.

Given that's about the most common slave cylinder seal in New Zealand, you probably got lucky. On the whole, Repco is staffed by the most useless pack of inbreeders.

Rob in Tauranga was one of the pioneers of stainless steel cylinder resleeving in New Zealand... as a result he's had quite a number of seals made etc... send the whole unit to him is my recommendation. Either him or Canterybury Brake and Clutch (his old business) in Christchurch. There are other places, but they're who I'd use. Sure, you could muck around looking some more, but just throw it in a courier bag and it'll come back in three days assembled and ready to roll. Course it's a shitty time of year for it, make a call first.

I agree with you imdying. Although, sometimes you strike it lucky - then they get moved on up the ranks and you never seem them again.
Ahhhh - it should be mandatory that people have to take a customer service course and show some level of intelligence to operate/serve in a business. It certainly isn't what it used to be.

Yep, those that put the effort into actually learning the parts rather than just how to look them up get moved onto the trade arms, or into purchasing etc... leaving Joe Bloggs do deal with muppets. Generally I've found the service to be pretty good, they're polite and helpful... just zero actual product knowledge or real world experience.

I sent the rear pump up yesterday morning to Powerstop Engineering.
It got delivered this morning and they got to work on it straight away.
Thev'ye fixed it up and sent it back already.
I should have it in my hands tomorrow Rob reckons.
All of this and I haven't even paid them yet.
