Hey Gav, I picked them up this afternoon...8 big boxes later (came out on a pallet with forklift), lucky I took the trailer!

I am fully stoked with them, as far as I'm concerned the quality is great and my sizing is fine. They even come with 2 spare domes in case they break. Stitching looks great, and armour is all present...basically just like buying from a shop!

Devil came and picked his up this afternoon, so should get him to give an unbiased opinion, he found his Large a little small, and took a spare XL I had.

I'm really happy with them and have taken some photos so when everyones order is sorted I will post a few.

Best bet is to arrange a meeting in the evening next week for the AKL KB's or you can come and pick them up from my house (Howick way) in the afternoon's or eveings?

Or I could post them across town?
Or you could meet me in the city during the day (I'm in at Uni) and we could exchange some money for some leathers.

Email me is the best way to arrange a time, or txt

Hmm if the people from this group are happy I might just have to try and get som on the nest order. Any idea when that'll be?

Ditto. But if possible have the next order no sooner than 2 or 3 months away. That gives us a chance to get some long term reviews on them.

Anyone planning on using theirs on the track? Would be good to know how they hold up in a slide (and I can feel less guilty about saying that if the person is sliding from a race bike down a track rather than road bike on road).

Probably take me that long to get the money up for them. I hate being broke.

First perspective. They look really good. A bit arsed that the ones I ordered were a little too small

Maybe a guide for people ordering in the future, if you use the www.beconi.com size chart, look at the lowest size in the range they give you. eg. Large pants = 36" - 39". If you were a 38" i'd def go for the next size up (XL).

They look neat. Plenty of armour. The one piece I took home has a good shape too it, no saggy bits!

    Pickup or Delivery of Leathers

Ok, it looks as if most AKL KB's are going to pick up their leathers individually, thats fine, so those that haven't got theirs just need to PM or email me and we can arrange a time to pick them up from home (Howick) or to meet sometime somewhere in the City during the day.

    Cheers

As someone who has been making Leightons life miserable today with numerous emails, texts and phone calls, I would like to thank you on behalf of all the other overexcited KB members (surely I'm not the only one) for the massive effort you have put into this, and are still putting in. Job's almost done mate! Can't wait to see them!

    Hey Kit,
The shore is a bit far for me I have about 4 orders around 3pm in the city to drop off, and am going Hillsborough way for dinner...would prefer to meet in the city if I can just let me know who, where, and sometime around 3:30ish.

Yeah its been a long day of running around, I'm not my usual querky self so might miss a few implications here and there Now promise me you won't trash them on the road or track for awhile yet! Especially 2 suits!
