For a long bike i would say 50 to 70 kg, for a short bike 70 to 90kg, although ther are a few that fall well outside those guidelines with reasonable results.

Pigster was at least 120kg + and the Macefield clowns were a quick crew for what they were riding

AT LEAST 120 kg. The pigster outfit was weighed at Puke last year & it was over 500kg (thats heavy folks) ready to race with two wee lads on it.
The figures i mentioned are what i believe to be near enough to spot on.
I am 87kg naked & feel just only heavy enough to do my job properly yet not too heavy to dampen accaleration too much.
Of course the less competitive a team is the less it matters.

I'd say 50kg is still way to light for a long bike, I'd be picking a narrower window 65-70kg

Mostly I think it depends on the style of riding and just how competetive the team is
