Shop around for tyres... save some $$$

Was amazed at the difference in price for a Pirelli Sport Demon 100/90-18

    Haldanes 200.00 (179 + fitting approx 20-25)
    Cycle Treads 160.00 total fitted...

hmmmm even spent some more $$$$ at treads for other goodies

Yep, we got a much better deal on the same pair of tyres for my bike at one place than we were quoted at another. Pays to shop around

Pirelli have a particularly peculiar marketing model, "Pirelli stockists" have high ticket prices but the price drops rapidly if you show interest.

I've seen a 180/55 Diablo with $500.00 on it. Yet I got two fitted for about $600. If there was another Pirelli stockist it might've been better yet. There is one now, so maybe I'll find out next time.
