Huge thanks to all! from Jason Hulme

Hi, to everyone. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all that have given their help, support, and best wishes over the last months.

Especially Linda and Hamish Blair, Sue Futter, Shaun Harris, Jarrod and Dee Wintle, Glenn Williams, Warren Wagner, of course Sera, and too many others to list. The amount of visits i had while in hospital was awesome, i really appreciate it! It certainly makes things easier to handle.

Just to let you all know (even though ive been to the track and seen a few of you already) things are starting to come along now. (and my sanity is coming back) New Bone is growing quickly, I can now put all my weight through both legs, So im hoping to start walking soon. Ive almost got full movement in my knee, although i cant straighten it properly, and its a bit sideways, But you dont need a straight leg to race! .

I cant wait to get back on the track!! Watching the national results come in is really giving me the itch, (and is a little annoying) My plan is to get road riding happening soon, and get back on the track this winter to ease back into things.
Now i just need to sort out a bike.................... Maybe some shady feela will lend me a slightly used GSXR750.

See you all at the track, and keep the rubber side down!!!!

Great to see you getting around on the pushbike last weekend. Looked liked you could have jumped on a bike there and then. If the legs a hassle just rigg up a power shifter!

You won't have a clue who I am but I was there that day to do my first race in Street Stock. Your crash was horrible to watch and it almost put me off getting out there that day.
I am glad to hear that you are on the mend and raring to get get back into it! Good luck with everything!

Sorry it had a negative affect on you that day. I try to look at this kind of thing one way. It was a freak accident. Not a racing accident. I've seen this kind of thing happen on public roads too.
At least in street stock start line accidents are usually small if at all!

Nah, don't be sorry!! I pretty much came to the same conclusion myself so I took a couple of HTFU pills and had a blast out there. I actually feel safer on the track then on the road regardless of the "incidents" i've witnessed (and been part of) on the track myself. Once you start racing I reckon you become addicted instantly!

    Good on you

    Hey Jas and Sera,

It was awesome to see you both at Wangavegas and track day too...go Sera she was humming?? does this mean a duo out there this winter series???

We are both so glad that you are healing...I miss your funnies on the dummy grid especially when you were waiting for the bike to come back in lol! I can't wait to see that again.

Kids are missing making sprinkles and ice cream to be delivered half melted...shaken up by a bike ride and stored in a hot back pack lol...maybe we can do sprinkles and icecream at our place for you????

Keep healing and we will catch up soon. Take care and love to you both.

Like I have said to you all along your Positive Attitude and your motivation to 1 day get back out there on the track has got you to where you are today as well as that wonderful support from the special female in your life Sera who has been truely wonderful thru the whole thing. I look so forward to seeing you back out there Jason and you truely deserve to be out there doing what it is you love so much doing, Kicking Arse. I would also like to see Sera out there also and hope that 1 day I receive her entry to all of our rounds in this years Actrix Winter Series. Takecare both of you and look forward to catching up with you again at the track real soon.
