    Smile Hey hey hey

    Hey
I'm Suney, I'm 20 years old and I live in Auckland for university.
Never ridden a bike before and just got my learners last weekend and bought a zxr250. Ridden allover Auckland for the past week and have had no trouble with cars not seeing me. It's really fun and at the moment prefer it more than a car!
I have a couple biker friends but am keen to meet some more fellow kb'ers!

Also is it common protocol for bike riders who are travelling past each to give a nod to eachother to acknowledge one another or something? Because a few guys have nodded at me just yesterday and I was thinking

Some more pics at: 400kb per pic though! So no 56kers

Welcome.... A nod is good, a wave is also good. We draw the line at hugging especially if heading different directions at speed.
    Nice Bike BTW

    Welcome

Nice looking 250 you got there. A wave is the most visible, but a good nod is fine. Normally you wave to everything on two wheels that you pass. Note, not everyone waves back, but this has been discussed ad nauseam.

Lots of great people in Auckland to meet up with, keep and eye on the meetings section.
    Have fun, ride safe.
    Dave.

I'm not one to speed, haven't topped it out yet. 110 is probably the fastest on the motorway even though I'm on my learners

Sure you can copy it! I thought this was a factory colour scheme!
